Damaged or Dead Nerve Tissue Removal (eg: Root Canal)

Sterilization & Shaping Of Internal Structure. Endodontic treatment is commonly needed when large holes in the teeth have reached the internal nerves. A root canal is one of the most common examples.

Characteristic nerve symptoms include

• A spontaneous dull aching pain especially at night,
• Tenderness on biting, and
• Lingering pain when the tooth is exposed to a hot or cold stimulus.

Endodontic Therapy consists of several stages:

1. The removal of damaged or dead nerve tissue from the inside of the tooth.
2. The sterilisation and shaping of the internal structure of the tooth.
3. The permanent sealing of the now cleaned nerve canals.
4. With timely treatment, this procedure is pain-free and has long term results.

We then recommend consistent dental checkups at least every 6 months to keep your teeth and gums as healthy as possible.
